End-Of-Life Recycling, EXCHANGES and REFUNDS
This is a work-in-progress so I hope we can work together on it. We want to offer end-of-life recycling options if our products break or get damanged beyond repair. Instead of you throwing it into the garbage, we will have it shipped to us, and we will recycle it for you.
Here are some provisional terms for doing this:
- We hope these products last you at least 3 months before you throw them out, so we will do end-of-life recycling only after then, unless there are some extreme cases.
- If these products break during use, and you’re about to throw them, please take photos and show us any evidence that will convince us that we are not being duped. We are still a young start-up and can’t afford a lot of duping.
- Please give us at least 14 business days to pick these up from you.
To initiate an end-of-life recycling request, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with all details (Order #, photo evidence, reasons, etc). We will try and be as fair as possible.
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We want to be as fair as possible on this, and we are still figuring out what the best practice is for our brand. For now, we are selling in beta (trial) mode, so we are going to start with not doing any refunds. But we’ll do exchanges within 7 days after delivery.
Keeping that in mind, your purchase is eligible for an exchange if it meets the following criteria:
- An incorrect product has been delivered to you i.e. the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email.
- If the product you receive bears a crack or is broken / completely dysfunctional.
- You must return the product in the same condition that you received it in, unworn or unused, in its original packaging with its original documents including tags, or anything else you receive with the product.
- Gift cards are exempted from returns.
- For starters, every exchange request is treated as an individual case, and we’ll try to be as fair about it as we can. We hope you will be as well.
- You’re within the exchange window of 7 days after delivery.
We are unable to offer exchanges if:
- We’ve been given an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and contact information.
- There are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
- The product is not as you thought it would.
If all these criteria are met, we’re happy to exchange your product for a replacement within 14 working days after we receive the product at our designated address.
Please note, do not accept the order if the packaging is tampered or the seal is broken.
