Someone who is comfortable with building and giving presentations and sales pitches, with an understanding of how the analytics of sales work. Someone who wants to build something special.

Ashaya | WITHOUT is not just another social enterprise or non-profit or start-up. We are an amalgamation of all that and a lot more.

Our why, our values, our guiding principles and our mission are absolute pillars in our journey to make deep, meaningful impact. We have just launched a new brand and our first product, and are trying to build on that.

Right now, we are a small but passionate team, so our work culture is evolving as we speak. We don’t believe in hierarchy and are attempting to build an environment of self-management.

WHO WOULD BE A GOOD FIT

We are looking for a key leader. Someone who wants to build something bigger than themselves, while championing our credo of balanced intensity.

A degree is not essential, we are looking for someone who:

  • An intrapreneur, someone who can lead the most important vertical at Ashaya, with at least 5 years of work experience related to business development and growth.
  • Comfortable selling B2C products, building B2B relationships, and interacting with customers offline and online.
  • Someone with excellent Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills, with some basic understanding of CRMs and management software.
  • Has an eye for good design, products, brands and sustainability.
  • Enjoys project management and building social communities and groups.
  • Is aligned with WITHOUT and Ashaya’s vision, mission, and guiding principles.
  • Embodies our values of Truth, Grit, and Optimism.
  • Loves to solve complex problems while embracing uncertainty.
  • Is flexible at work, and open to doing even the smallest tasks.
  • Is a learner, a doer, and a self-starter, looking to grow as an individual on a technical and personal level.
  • Someone looking to start at the earliest.

You will:

  • Lead the monetization and growth process at Ashaya and be accountable for monthly/quarterly revenue goals. Monetization includes:
    • Revenue through direct product sales (B2C) and through B2B channels (corporate gifting, material sales, etc).
    • Funding through grants, competitions, and potential investors.
    • Building and maintaining relationships across the spectrum.
  • Support and direct product design (B2B / B2C), calibrating insights / new products/distribution channels based on external demand and internal supply.
  • Own the brand “WITHOUT” and all collateral and content around that (Instagram page, Linkedin page, website, Youtube, etc). This includes all marketing-related efforts. You will have a Content-Creator (Graphic Designer and Video Editor) to support you on this.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team in a fast-paced, energetic, start-up environment to optimize our organization to perform at its peak. This includes being open to doing the smallest of tasks, in addition to the more complex ones.
  • Be a key leader at Without and Ashaya, helping shape our next stage of growth.

Your compensation:

Taking into consideration that this is a key senior position:

  • A fair, competitive market-based compensation package with upside for sales.
  • Stock Options (ESOPS) in the legal entity that vests over an agreed-to tenure.
  • A 3-month mutual incubation period. Both you and we will have the option to end the agreement after three months if it isn’t working out.
  • We provide benefits such as health insurance, flexible work hours (including unmonitored vacation) and Provident Fund contributions.
  • We believe in self-management (non-hierarchical) where nobody reports to anybody, but instead, we hold each other accountable to outcomes and processes.

Second Round Interview

1 – 2 hour long-form interview, case-based (an assignment will be given beforehand that will be reviewed together during the interview).

We will have as many rounds of interviews as required to make sure we find the right fit.
